Hi, I'm Rachel! I'm most passionate about illustration and fashion design, but I also have an interest in graphic design and videography. I always love to experiment and try out different mediums. Over the years, I’ve learned to utilize certain art forms to best portray a unique moment in my life and explore themes like love, girlhood, and racial identity. As a half-Japanese person, I’m greatly influenced by traditional Japanese art styles like Ukiyo-e and contemporary Japanese artists like Seiichi Hayashi and Kazuo Kamimura. I also pull inspiration from music and film.
